The following is some of key elements in the contract.

Contract period
  The period of contract will be valid for 12 months.
Teaching hours
  The Employee will be required to work for regularly scheduled hours from Monday through Friday (no Saturdays or Sundays except at Employees option), 6 hours (300 minutes) of teaching per day, a total of 30 hours (1,500 minutes) per week.
Salary
  Employer will pay employee a monthly salary of amount(won) for each month. 'Month" and 'Monthly" refer to a four week session of the calendar. Payment of the aforesaid salaries will be made in won. Salary ranges are between 1,900,000 -2,300,000 won ( approximately equivalent to C$2,400 to C$3,000 or US$1,600-US$1,900 ) per month, depending on qualifications, experience and performance. Korean income taxes and Korean National Pension Scheme deductions will be withheld. Basically, your pay is yours. All teachers work Monday to Saturday except on holidays or vacation days.
Overtime pay
  Teaching periods in excess of the minimum teaching requirement and approved by the employer are considered overtime. Employee will be paid at the rate of 15,000-20,000 Won ( equivalent to C$19.25-CS25.67 or US$12.40-US$16.53 ) for each teaching period of overtime.
Severance pay
  Upon completion of the full contract period, the employee will be given a bonus amounting to 1 month's salary. If you do not fulfill your commitment, you will not receive any bonus.
Airline Ticket
  Employer will provide for employee an economy class ticket for passage to Korea from an international airport, which is mutually agreed to by employer and employee. After completing a one-year contract, the teacher will be provided a return ticket. If you do not fulfill your commitment, you will be responsible for all costs associated with your return home.
Holidays and vacation
  Employer is obligated to observe all public holidays - nine or ten days per year depending on which day it falls on. Additionally, teachers are given a vacation for ten days at least. All holidays and vacation time are paid.
Medical insurance
  Employee will be covered by medical benefits under the Korean Medical Insurance Union, a Government Health Organization. The costs of this coverage will be borne half by employer and half by employee. Payment will be made by monthly deduction from employee's salary. If you already have private health coverage, which will cover you during your stay in Korea, the deduction will not be taken.
Accommodation
  Employer will select and provide a rent-free furnished apartment for employee. Housing will be a semi furnished shared or a single studio apartment. The furnishings provided by employer for common use by employees include such as a bed, a kitchen table and chairs, cooking utensils, a coat hanger, a two-burner gas range, a refrigerator, a telephone, a television, and a washing machine. Teachers pay for services and utilities. Service fees and utility bills include heating, water, guard service, telephone, cleaning, and electricity. Teachers in shared apartments must split the cost of utilities.
Pay Day
  Pay will be given once per month.
Income Tax
  Korean income tax, approximately 3--5% will be deducted from the salary according to the Korean tax law.
Sick Days
  There are no sick days officially in most contracts. But if teachers are really sick and not just sick of teaching and want a day off, then there will be no problem taking an occasional sick day. The instructor will receive 3-5 paid sick days.
Renewal
  The Employee must give the Employer a written 60-day notice before renewal or non-renewal of the Employees current contract. Both the Employer and the Employee reserve the option to renew the contract.
Termination of contract
  Both parties will give at least a written 60-day notice prior to the termination date of the contract.
